CHORDS- problems

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR

CHORD MOVEMENT

When the strings move and you haven't been knitting long.

Even in a freshly strung racket when the strings move they reduce both control and ball stability. This can also be due to an incorrect grid selection for the racquet and/or you. If however it keeps happening with various grids, then you might want to try having your racquet repaired by another technician.

String movement only in the center of the racket.

When the strings start and move to the center, soon it will be extended to the outward strings. Playing the racket will lose its tension very soon.

PREMIUM CHORD BREAKING

The string broke at the top of the racket.

To break the string at the top of the racket there are 2 basic explanations. To hit the ball at or near that spot. In this case you are out of luck. If you didn't knock though, there is the case of low quality service on your racket. It is not only due to the stringer's poor technique but also the cheaper machine he uses. also, the damaged grommets , to have dirt or quartz there and not cleaned.

To us, your racquet is thoroughly examined and every problem is addressed!

PREMIUM CHORD BREAKING

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW?

The strings broke at the knot point

If the strings broke right at the knot point, it is not your fault but the technician's fault. We use knots depending on the racket, the grid the kilos so that there will never be such an issue

My strings break very quickly.

Rapid string breakage can have many causes. The net and racket are not suitable for your level and style of play, hybrid or multifilament meshes that are not placed correctly, the surface you play on, weather (humidity, cold, too hot..). Poor knitting technique injures the strings, causing them to break much faster.

In our own lab we will find the best solution for you and your game to deal with these problems.

RANGING – SCRATCHING

Rattles are usually small pieces inside the racket frame and handle that rattle when you hit the racket with the ball or your palm. These small pieces may be small pieces of graphite that have been chipped off the racket, piece of plastic from the grommets, soil or quartz from the field etc.

The creaking sounds are usually from the butt cap of the racket handle being loosened. If you let it, there is a high chance of the bottom of the handle breaking which results in vibrations that will affect both you and the integrity of the rest of the handle.
